Timber Tiger Treasures is an online store specializing in gifts and accessories inspired by the artwork of nature and bird artist, Megan Blythe.  Megan has had a lifelong passion with portraying the natural world through her art.  She has experience in creating art using many different forms of media, including but not limited to colored pencil, acrylic and oil paints, watercolor paints, charcoal, pen and ink, oil pastel, as well as graphic design utilizing various CAD programs such as Adobe Photoshop.  

 

She received a formal fine arts education at the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, where she graduated Cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History and a minor in fashion design.   After learning about the National Audubon Society through her former job with Aveda, Megan became extremely interested in all things relating to birds and nature conservation.

Today, she and her husband and son travel to various wildlife refuges and zoos in order to photograph any and all species of birds, plants, and animals.  Some of these photographs are then sketched by Megan, copied, re-sized, and made into beautiful gifts you see in her online store.  Through her artwork, she hopes to  invoke an appreciation for the natural world.
