Black Skimmer~ Rynchops niger
Found around the eastern coast of North America, the Black Skimmer hunts for food by inserting his longer lower mandible into the water and skimming the surface for fish.  Can usually be found hanging out with seagulls and terns near sandbars (like this one, originally photographed on St.Simon's Island, GA!)
