Daffodil~ (Narcissus salome variety)
This hardy spring perennial is a member of the amaryllis family and is native to meadows and woods in southern Europe, North Africa, and the Mediterannean. As the birth flower for March, Daffodils traditionally symbolize rebirth and new beginnings, as well as regard and remembrance of a loved one. Another name for Daffodil is "Jonquil."
