American Crow~ Corvus brachyrhynchas
One of three crow species in North America.  American Crows roost communally and often use the same site year after year.  They are known for their high intelligence and outsmarting other birds and mammals when it comes to competition for food.  Crows are omnivorous and will eat anything from invertebrates, amphibians, reptiles, small birds and mammals, eggs, and discarded human food (such as the apples and grapes that we fed this crow in our backyard!)
